Port of Pittsburgh and Three Rivers Points of Interest

The rivers continue to serve the as economic highways connecting the mid-west to the Mississippi and on to the Gulf of Mexico and beyond. Adding to the economic value of the waterways is their extensive use for recreation.

Block Island, Rhode Island

A nautical delight, Block Island offers a range of sights and activities over it’s 10 square mile area. Most boating visitors make landfall at the aptly named Old Harbor or New Harbor (Great Salt Marsh) towns. The island is home to 2 lighthouses and many other historic buildings.
