In conjunction with our exhibit at the 2008 Cleveland Boat Show (see us in Booth 91, east of the Ferris Wheel), we’ve released our new Ohio Boat Ramp and Water Access map for Google Earth. Find boat ramps and access sites to your favorite Ohio rivers and lakes with 886 sites included. We’ve sourced this data from the Ohio DNR Boating Access Database dated September 2006.
The DNR source did not include ramp characteristics so we will be adding these ourselves from printed references and local feedback. Each location in our map has a ‘Submit Information’ link. If you have 1st-hand knowledge about a site, please drop us a line and we’ll add it to the map. We’re especially interested in things like supported boat sizes/drafts, parking, facilities, fees, etc…
